To offer such a large range most products are ordered as needed from our suppliers. Products kept in-store are those needed by local studios only. Please check the product description on each product for more information.
The day you place your order will determine the time needed for us to receive the products from suppliers. Orders placed by Sunday night are usually shipped mid the following week, orders placed from Monday will take a few extra days. If items are unavailable at our suppliers you will be contacted via email as soon as we receive that information. Please Note: If you have been unsuccessful ordering products directly from suppliers, we too will be unsuccessful to obtain these, please email us an enquiry before ordering.
Many of our customers are studios that are happy to wait for products to be restocked, we will backorder these items and send them as soon as they arrive. All items ready to ship will be shipped and the postage of backorders will be paid by us.
We are not usually aware of out-of-stock products at suppliers until we try to order them, usually they are restocked within a reasonable time. You will be given the choice whether to wait for these items or not. If items are unavailable you will be contacted via email as soon as we receive that information.
To avoid extra charges, Dance & Play would prefer to get your sizing correct the first time, please read the below information and contact us if you require further information.
Dance & Play recommends firstly to order one of each required size and fit your students, then order the balance with your results. Many costumes will fit differently due to design and the amount of ease and fabric stretch. Size charts are recommended as a guide only.
Please note: A restocking fee of 20% will be charged for the cancellation, return, or exchange of large orders, multiples of the same item, and items not usually stocked in-store. Return postal charges to our supplier will also be incurred for large returning orders.
Please check our T&C and the description on individual products. We are happy to exchange individual products, for larger orders of multiples of size please refer to our T&C. We do not refund for a change of mind, or sell on approval.

Store Pick-up is chosen at the checkout when choosing shipping, it will show $0 cost.
You will be notified by text or email once your order is ready for collection, this could be a number of days as we wait for products to arrive from our suppliers.

It depends on the time to receive products from our suppliers and the time to ship to your destination. Australia Post is used to ship parcels, your location and type of delivery chosen will determine the time. Free shipping will be sent via standard post.

Shipping is provided through Australia Post. You can choose Standard or Express Post, free shipping will be sent via standard post, T&C apply. Tracking information will be emailed once your order is dispatched. Please note that express post is not a guarantee items are in-stock, if chosen it is the method of shipping once all items have arrived from suppliers.
EXPRESS POST is Shipping only and not despatch time. Express post is shipping only, this will not guarantee the same day dispatch of orders unless prior arrangements have been made. Most orders will be dispatched once items arrive from our suppliers in approximately 3-7 business days.

Once we have ordered items from our suppliers we are unable to cancel your order.
If we have not yet ordered the items from our supplier we may be able to cancel or credit your order. Please contact us via email as soon as you can.
Yes, log into your account to view your orders and the status of each. Current and past invoices can also be viewed once logged in.
